Thousands of  people in Barbados and overseas face limited life prospects due to inadequate personal growth and development.. The Cruz Wellness Society  is a sign of hope in the face of this crisis, meeting both immediate and longer term needs.

Donations to the Cruz Wellness Society can be used to support all our work. Our experience of working with people in difficult life situations around the world means we can allocate our resources in the most effective ways possible.

The Cruz Wellness Society will use your donation wherever the need is greatest, both locally and internationally.

The main projects this money will be used to fund include:

• The development of a more complete mentor service with the addition of sub-services to complement the guided development. New sub-services include provision of temporary emergency shelter for a maximum period of 1 month as well as job placement. These sub-services may be especially beneficial to recently retrenched public sector employees.                                                                                

• To launch a seminar/workshop series entitled Overcoming Financial Difficulties: The tools for prosperity. The topics to be covered include motivation, internal adaptation, planning, self-promotion, essential laws of power.                                                                                                                              

• To develop a full volunteer activity calendar by the end of the first quarter including volunteer work at children’s homes, health care facilities and other community/social establishments. There will also be an increase in social activities such as soup kitchens and environment enhancement projects, including a partial university scholarship.                                                                                   

• Establish an administrative office for coordination of tasks and short-term storage of items.                                                                                                                               

• Through a strategic partnership the planning and execution of a summer camp program for summer of 2015. The camp should include a martial art focus to help instil discipline, a key value to developmental success.
